The Wellington Aero Club has a total of 248 home sites which have approximately one acre each.  Brand new custom estate homes are currently being built, but home construction started in the mid 1980's.  Multiple builders have taken part in building these custom homes and living square footage starts at 2,100 to over 5,500.  Aero Club is surrounded on three sides by deep water canals and the forth by a fence.  There are only two main entrances into this private community.  Most importantly you will find the 4,000 foot lighted grass runway in the middle of the community.  Owning an airplane is not a requirement to live in Aero Club , but if you pull up to your new house in one you will be very welcomed!
