History of Royal Palm Beach Florida

The Village of Royal Palm Beach, incorporated in 1959, is governed by a Mayor and a Village Council and provides municipal and utility services for over 30,000 residents. The Village is located in the central part of Palm Beach County which is in the Southeastern part of the State. The Village encompasses 11.65 square miles and is 15 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean in Central Palm Beach County.

A great diversity of housing opportunities are available in the Village of Royal Palm Beach, a financially and politically stable municipality. Theres something for everyone, from young families to active retirees, in the Villages many neighborhoods. Totally maintained condominium communities feature recreational activities for active residents. Many single family homes, from first-time to deluxe, make up the Villages active neighborhoods.

The Acreage, located just north of the Village limits, consists of one and a quarter plus acre home sites with both paved and unpaved roads. This area is home to some 40,000 residents who value open spaces, with the convenience of city living nearby.
